Singapore and Chinese New Years - it is a colorful and crowded experience. Wherever you look you can find decorations, often red lanterns and of course this year, horses. The Year of the Fire Horse only happens every 60 years so we certainly experienced a once in a life time event. I hope that is a correct fact - just heard it on TV.

The disadvantage of coming at this time, many places are closed. Of course the advantage is the experience of Chinese New Years.
