The Sahara

Once again, a magnificent experience riding into the Sahara on our camels.  Before going out it was time to get ready with our sun screen, long pants, shirts and of course the scarf to cover out heads and faces from sun and wind.  We were ready to experience the orange coloured Erg Chebbi sand dunes that look like giant mountains.

Our camp was The Golden Camp with our individual tents - yes washrooms and air conditioning and wifi available.  Of course we ate another wonderful meal, watched a disappointing sunset and marvelled at the feel of this soft orange sand between our toes.

And the next morning we got right back on those boys for our ride back to the starting point.  Yes the Sahara needed it’s own post!
