Welcome

 Welcome to my new travel blog.  I love travelling and have enjoyed a number of countries on my own and with friends.  Bali, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam were favourites in Asia.  Peru and Machu Picchu and Ecuador and Galapagos were special in South America.  The animals in Kenya and Tanzania were amazing and the beaches in Zanzibar were HOT!  Turkey, Jordan, Bosnia, Croatia, Italy, Portugal - all beautiful countries each with special attractions and memories.  I guess you could say "I've never been to a country I didn't like."

A few years ago, a chance conversation with my travel agent at the time introduced me to a new twist in my travels and I tried my first tour as a tour host - I was hooked.  The rest is history.  A relationship with Vision Travel in Vernon has evolved over the years and many trips have been planned and enjoyed.  I have tried to keep my key principles in place for these trips:

• small groups ( 8 to 20)
• leisurely paced days with limited early morning starts
• opportunities for free time
• longer stays in one location with day excursions
• centrally located hotels
• FUN

Initial tours were women wanting to travel in a group.  Since then, the groups have changed and we have couples joining us on most trips. If you are interest in this form of travel, you might want to consider one of my tours.
